What Makes us Different?

Our mission is to create an ‘Empact by mobilising local to global networks to achieve an aggregate social and/or economic impact.

We bring people and organisations in the private, public and third sectors based on mutual interest in a facilitated way to create new collaborative partnerships today and tomorrow.

We super connect you before (e.g. with delivery partners), during (e.g. with attendees, exhibitors) and after (e.g. with strategic partners) our events – and stay cc’d in emails to help both sides get create an ‘Empact’.

The OVHcloud Startup Program Showcase

The OVHcloud Startup Program Showcase is a global tech initiative powered by Empact Ventures in partnership with the OVHcloud Startup Program to facilitate collaboration and/or funding between tech startups & scale-ups and larger companies (e.g. corporates, brands, SMEs) and funding providers (e.g. investors, grant and loan providers) based on mutual interest.

The OVHcloud Startup Program is a global initiative that has been running since 2015 and has received 7000 applications of which more than 2500 have been assisted with cloud credits and solution architecture support. The Startup Program provides tech startups with €10,000 of cloud hosting credits and up to €100,000 for scale-ups, enabling them to facilitate exponential and international growth.

After the success of our 3 European events in 2022, 3 events in 2023, the OVHcloud Startup Program Showcase Contest in 2024, We are now supporting event in 2025 as well as the The OVHcloud StartUp Program Global Report 2025

The Super Connect for Good Competition

Our Global Tech for Good initiative seeks to discover and super connect the world’s best tech startups and scale-ups creating positive social impact that enhances people’s lives through technology

Empact Ventures and Hays have been working together since 2018 The focus of our work has been to connect tech startups and scale-ups together with corporates, SMEs, funders and the public sector to explore collaborations

In 2023, the SCFG competition spanned across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and new for 2023 Asia. Our 50+ judges announced 20 winners categorised regional and by innovation. They received prizes worth £200,000 including funding, pilots, business support, press coverage, connections and more.
