A welcome and introduction will be provided by our event delivery partners with introductions to the Interactive Roundtable Themes in the afternoon as indicated in brackets to help you select which to join

• • Vee Mapunde, Co-Director of the National Institute for Health and Care Research HealthTech Research Centre for Accelerated Surgical Care will provide an introduction to the NIHR, its programmes, and the support available for attendees (plus an introduction to the ‘Addressing Health Inequalities’ theme)

Karen is Chief Medical Officer with Deloitte UK and a partner in the health strategy team in the UK and leads the global Deloitte Clinical Network. Aside from her clinical work as a GP she was previously the Dorset ICS clinical lead, National Senior Clinical Advisor for Systems Development, Population Health Management and Primary Care Transformation with NHSE. She works across the NHS to support health systems to improve and transform care delivery, with a focus on future trends and technology.
